The Project:
A commercial refurbishment of an existing office sat in the heart of Alderley Edge. The works consisted of internal reconfigurations to add new office rooms, kitchenette, toilet provisions and other general improvements.
Our Involvement:
Fogarty Associates were appointed by the Employer to prepare a budget, co-ordinate the tender process, advise on the selection of the Contractor, provide contractual advice, carry out interim valuations, assess variations and variable costs and negotiate the final account.
Hardwood Sales’ Distribution Warehouse and Manufacturing Buildings, Huyton

The Project:
This project consisted of multiple phases. The first phase was the construction of a 50,000 square foot portal frame industrial unit used to store timber. The unit was later extended to increase storage capacity.
Our client’s business, Hardwood Sales Limited, expanded and began offering timber manufacturing services such as production of skirting boards, architraves, doors and fitted furniture. A second phase was to build several smaller industrial units to contain various specialist machinery.

Our Involvement:
Fogarty Associates acted as the client’s quantity surveyor (PQS) and Contract Administrator. We have also provided cost advice for the building maintenance costs.
Hardwood Sales’ Commercial Office Building, Huyton

Another phase for this client was the construction of a commercial office building to house Hardwood Sales’ employees.

Fogarty Associates were appointed by the Employer to provide maintenance costs for the existing building. Including costs for replacement works, major repairs, upgrade works, removals and decorations.
Retail Development in Abbey Hulton

Refurbishment and conversion of a branch of a former, now insolvent, supermarket chain into two separate retail units. One was for Domino’s Pizza and the other for Heron Foods.
